Belladonna Biography
American porn actress and producer Belladonna is a bad girl at heart. She was born as Michelle Anne Sinclair in 1981 and was brought up in a Mormon community. However, she was showing her rebellious tendencies by the age of 12 when she had her first kiss. At 13 she got her first tattoo, lost her virginity at 14 and by the age of 15 she had dropped out of school. Her exotic looks come from a mixed heritage of German, Cherokee and Scottish ancestry which helped her get noticed in the porn industry.
Belladonna was a club dancer in Utah before she moved LA in 2000 to start her career as a nude model to earn some extra cash and ended up shooting a dirty movie with Chris Cannon. Her niche is extreme hardcore, spurred on by her first scene which involved anal penetration, an enema and topped off with a golden shower. Another of her early films was a rough sex shoot with 12 men in a prison setting whilst she was menstruating.
You could say that since then she has been typecast from her appearance in titles such as Weapons of Ass Destruction; work with notorious rough sex directors John Stagliano and Rocco Siffredi have continued the trend. In a 2007 interview Belladonna expressed regret for performing some of her early more extreme acts, blaming depression and lack of guidance on her decisions at the time. The traumatic period was caught on camera for a controversial documentary for Prime Time, where footage was cut to portray the extreme star as a victim of an evil porn industry. Despite her regrets, the model takes full responsibility for her actions at the time.
In 2003, the hardcore actress formed Belladonna Entertainment with Aiden Kelly, to whom she is now married. The pair have been producing and continue to distribute Gonzo movies. Belladonna has also appeared on mainstream TV in less controversial documentaries than her first, and posed for a coffee table photo book on the adult industry, XXX: 30 Porn-Star Portraits. She is still running her production company after retiring and returning to the world of hardcore porn.
