Megan Leigh Biography
Former pornstar and stripper Megan Leigh has a story steeped in stereotypical porn industry tragedy. She was born in California in 1964 as Michelle Maira Schei, and at the age of 14 she ran away from home and started working in a massage parlour. Nude dancing and stripper stardom came to her when she was 18, performing under the name Eve in san Francisco. By this time, her drug habit had well and truly kicked in, reports stating that she made a few thousand dollars a month in tips alone, the majority of which was spent on drugs.
In 1986, the troubled star became Megan Leigh and decided to detox and have cosmetic surgery to enhance her new found image. She appeared under several other names at this time, but her talent shone through at her ability to deep throat like no other porn star on the circuit at the time.
Tragedy finally took hold on June 16th 1990 when Megan Leigh's body was found at her California home. She had taken vast quantities of Valium and had died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. It is thought that she was in the throes of drug addiction after her family rejected her decision to have a same sex relationship. Her suicide note said that she had 'irresolvable personal problems'.
