Miranda Kerr Biography

Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr was the cause of some rather intense controversy when she began modelling at the age of 13. Having won a Covergirl competition in 1997 she was propelled to fame in fashion, but her poses for a number of photographers sparked debates over suggested paedophilia in fashion photo shoots.

Regardless of this Miranda Kerr continued to model part time and study until she left her home and headed for New York in 2004. She was instantly signed and has since become the face of Victoria's Secret and appeared on the covers of a long list of top notch magazines such as Rolling Stone, Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. She has also appeared in music videos, most notably for Kanye West and Pharrell Williams.

As well as being a devout Buddhist, Miranda Kerr is also known for dating Hollywood hunk Orlando Bloom and in May 2010 she came in at number 9 of Forbes Top 10 Earning Models. When this is combined with a recent 'scandal' involving a banker who was caught looking at her pictures during a television interview, her popularity has soared even further. It was reported that after the incident there was a 100% increase in Google searches for the Model's name.
